<span style="color: #000000;">An unofficial visit is a visit to Ball State University campus that is NOT funded by the institution.</span>

<span style="color: #000000;">Unofficial visits can be taken as early as freshman year. Typically, a coach will talk to you and your parents about Ball State University. and athletic program and they will give you a brief tour of the athletic facilities. If a coach has seen you play, they may give you an indication of their level of interest. In some cases, verbal scholarship offers are extend-ed on unofficial visits. If you know a coach has seen you play, you should ask them where you stand amongst their recruiting class, and what they feel you need to work on in order to improve.</span>

<span style="color: #000000;">If you take the initiative to schedule an unofficial visit and you arrive with some knowledge about Ball State and a list of good questions, you are likely to move up on the coach’s list of potential players.</span>
